Song of the Week – Unconditional

Tipping the sands of time oh about 20 years back…there was a metal/industrial band making a name for themselves on a more commercial level.  Prong hit the metal scene with some grinding and melodic riffs; certainly set their sound apart from the mainstream.  The trio released the album Prove You Wrong (their 4th) in 1991.  I remember hearing Unconditional for the first time and became an instant fan.  I thought you should relive it if it has been a while or check it out here if you have never heard it.

Prong was on hiatus from 1996-2002.  Since the reunion, Prong has released Scorpio Rising and Power of the Damager which are both pretty good, but my heart goes out to Prove You Wrong.  Prong also released a live album and Power of the Damager (mixxxer) since returning from their hiatus.
