Sonic Cathedral’s female-fronted roundup for August

Everyone who is or wants to be anyone in FF rock and metal must, must visit Sonic Cathedral. They have a website/online store and a Facebook page. I don’t know any music site that goes into more depth in its reviews.

Mammal’s 21-Year Hit Parade: 2000 / #12 – #10


MetalCatToday’s selection is doomy and black. That’s the sort of music that soothes me and makes Dark Metal Cat happy enough to stop ripping the furniture apart. I would clip his claws if I had tungsten clippers. He goes through about four sets of strings per gig.

Mammal’s 21-Year Hit Parade: 1998 / #3 – #1


MetalCatOpeth becomes the first band to have two Top Songs of the Year on my very personal metal list. My other two in the top three for 1998 are also Scandinavian. Yet I still don’t like rollmops.
