Let Bon Jovi Excite Your Tastebuds with His Special Sauce

Oh, the amount of horrible and vulgar jokes one could make with classic metal legend Bon Jovi‘s latest business venture.  John Bon Jovi and his father have released a line of tomato sauces for you to enjoy.  Back in Sicily during the 1800’s, great grandma Bongiovi would concoct her special recipe of sauce and feed it with pasta to her entire neighborhood.  Over the years the Bongiovi family immigrated to the United States and with them came the tomato sauce recipe they were so famous for back in Italy.  The recipe was passed down for generations and was such a hit with family and friends in Bon Jovi’s family that they finally decided to bring their love for pasta sauce to the rest of the world.

Available are the famous marinara, a hearty garden style vegetable, and a spicy arrabbiatta (translates to ‘angry’ from Italian).  They are all made in small batches and with the highest quality ingredients to make sure they maintain their home-made flavor.  If you would like to swallow down some of  Bon Jovi’s sauce you can order some from the Bongiovi website (reachable by clicking the picture below).  Enjoy!  Peace Love and Metal………  ‘Bevis and Butthead giggle’ Bon Jovi’s sauce.

Appetite of the Beast

If I ever take a stop in Coral Springs, Florida I need to check out this restaurant.  Rock and Roll Ribs is owned by Iron Maiden‘s drummer Nicko McBrain and his friend Mitch Tanne.  The restaurant goes for good ol’ American BBQ food and glancing at the menu and looking at the pictures, everything sounds mad tasty.  All the menu items are cleverly named with rock and roll and Iron Maiden references, like the House Band Salad, Aces High Fries, and the party platter Appetite of the Beast.

According to their website Rock and Roll Ribs have won a couple of awards for their ribs and it seems that Nicko has a true passion for good food, especially American BBQ(how could he not?).  If you live or pass through central Florida check out this place and let me know how awesome it was.  You can check out the menu and other things on their website.  Peace Love and Metal!!!
