Reggie’s (Plantera7’s) Top 5 Videos of 2011

Videos are a great marketing tool; a way for people to see the band.  It’s hard to catch good metal on TV these days, so we tend to rely on places like YouTube to see our favorite band videos or live footage of them playing.  Personally, it has done wonders for broadening my musical horizons.  Without videos, I probably wouldn’t have found some of the music I enjoy today.

Amon Amarth, Destroyers of the Universe

Thought I’d let all you wonderful metalheads out there know that Amon Amarth has released a video for the song “Destroyers of the Universe” off the album Surtur Rising.  The video is pretty much live footage which is epic in its own right.  Check it out, and if you haven’t picked up Surtur Rising, you may want to do so, it’s awesome.  Check out Plantera’s review on it if this video doesn’t convince you.
