Reggie’s Top 100 Favorite Albums of All Time #20-16

As we journey down the path to my number 1 favorite album of all time, we have finally breached the top 20.  From here on out, you will likely see more and more classic metal albums appearing on the list except for one or two that are relatively new (to me) compared to the rest.  This all-time list is an ongoing effort started by our friends at The History of Metal page on facebook.  Each day we list another album until we get to the end which should take us close to the end of the year.  Below is my next list of five as we near our way to #1.  Enjoy!

Song of the Day – Peace Sells…But Who’s Buying

Yungvirticus has a busy day today so I will cover the reigns for him on the song of the day.  Today there is going to be a double shot of the song of the day because of a neat coincidence on my iTouch.  The first song on random is usually selected as the song of the day which is:

Peace Sells…But Who’s Buying by Megadeth off Peace Sells…But Who’s Buying

If you haven’t heard the remastered version of that album, it’s golden!

After Peace Sells, I listened to new Blind Guardian and Skullage from Black Label Society.  That went on for most of the morning while I was…um working and stuff.  Then I decided to hit random and sure enough, it was another Megadeth song.  So the song of the day 1.2 is:

Use The Man by Megadeth off the album Cryptic Writings

Cryptic Writings was perhaps Megadeth’s biggest commercial success.  The album did quite well for the band.  I don’t really judge an album on whether or not it is commercially accessible.   It’s just good Megadeth music.  Megadeth’s newest album Endgame is stellar!  Have a great week.
