Full Album Stream: BattleroaR – Blood of Legends

Storms, swords, legends, and chariots…sounds like epic metal to me.  Greece’s BattleroaR released their new album, Blood of Legends, on 2 May 2014; it’s fresh off the press.  Blurring the lines between epic and power metal, they utilize a wide range of instrumentation to capture their sound.  What I mean by that is they have a full-time violinist.  It adds a folk-like element to their brand.   The songs range from just over 3 minutes to over 8 minutes.  Guitar solos – check, battle rhythm – check, folk infusions – check, epicness – check.  Check out the stream below for listening pleasure.  Don your sword and prepare for battle.

The band’s influences are:  Manilla Road, Omen, Cirith Ungol, Brocas Helm, Jag Panzer, Heavy Load, Thunder Rider, Doomsword, Ostrogoth, Iron Maiden, Manowar, Bathory.
