Sockweb – Father-daughter grindcore duo

Joanie, 7, and her father Adam from Indiana have been working hard on Sockweb‘s debut album ever since they showed off their absolutely adorable grindcore song “I Want Pancakes” last year. Joanie writes all the lyrics and is also the lead singer. Her career in metal is starting off early and it sounds damn good already!

The album, release date March 25th, is called “Werewolf”  and includes guests from bands like Flux Conspiracy, Spiralmountain,  Azure Noise, Ozoru Hammer and Agoraphobic Nosebleed. The album is mixed by Andrew Zink of Akeldama and mastered by Scott Hull of Pig Destroyer/Agoraphobic Nosebleed. In the new video for the track “Spoon” they are continuing the story of Joanie and Wolfie. Check it out, it’s an awesomely brutal song!

Also, you should check out the merchandise. Sockweb sells socks! Of course! How cool is that? (I’ve ordered two pairs already, they look very comfy.)

Sockweb is signed to Monolithic Records and their first album “Werewolf” is set to be released on March 25th. Pre-order on their Bandcamp page.
