WarpRider – Uncomplicated progressive rock that’s easy to appreciate; a highly enjoyable set of songs.  It doesn’t have to be full-blown metal aggression to be good.  4.0

Atleastimhousebroken – Dear lord, how many times can someone reuse the same acoustic blues riff?  1 out of the 5 songs I was mildly entertained by, otherwise, sorry to say, I was bored to tears by this run of the mill blues rock artist. 1

Irmelinis – Mr Jepson provides us with an easy going acoustic set of classic rock songs, first half containing up-tempo rock with a slightly proggy edge and the second half being more mellow and relaxed.  For fans of rock/acoustic, I’m sure this mini-album will satisfy; unfortunately it doesn’t work for me. – 2.0

ChristopherMammal – After doing guitar and vocals for hard rockers Little Angel for eight years from 1986, the doing a couple of albums with other bands and some solo recordings, Jepson has earned a bit of hell-raising. It sounds like he had fun doing it, and that makes the enjoyment of this EP easy to absorb. The six songs offer a mix of harder and softer, ballad and rocker, and even some boogie. This is a good one for the eclectic hard rock fans.  3.8

A Metal State of Mind Score – 2.7 out of 5
