Metal State’s 200th Post

Hello Everyone,

I am very happy to announce that this is Metal State’s 200th post.  I want to thank everyone that has visited, whether you visit once a week or once a month.  Our small concept blog has really turned into something substantial and meaningful to metalheads around the world (I can only imagine).

Since we have had so much success, we are now in the market for some help in the form of additional contributors.  This can range from a guest SOTD to a full-time contributor.  If you think you might be interested in helping us out, read on:

If you would like to post your Song of the Day on Metal State, please send an email to with your name, location, your song of the day, and anything else you want people to know.  I will input your SOTD in, and voila, you are now credited with a SOTD.

If you would like to become a regular contributor to the site, please send an email to with a short narrative as to why you would like to be a contributor.  Nothing too crazy or specific, just a couple of sentences as to your metal mindset, and why you would like to help.  We will then get you familiar with the inner workings of our blog, and cut you loose to bring more metal to the masses.

I sincerely hope to hear from some of you soon.  Metal State is growing, and we need to adjust our core personnel as such.  Thanks again for stopping in, and we hope to see you again soon.

  1. F’n Righteous Dudes!!!! I dig your site, It’s got metal that I’m familiar with and also brings to my attention a lot of stuff I may have never listened to as well as some interesting topics. You guys are passionate about metal and that’s always a plus in my book. Keep on metalin’!!!

    • Thanks for the comments man. I dig yours too and how you take the extra time with your album reviews and band history. Thank you for getting me into some new music. I am always on the lookout! It’s been great blogging about metal with you. Let’s keep it rolling.
